Patrick is settling in he said that his trainer is awesome and that they get along great, there is snow all over the place and Patrick said that he is finally not hot!
He got to meet most of the ward this week and they got some dinner appointments so he was happy for that.
Patrick’s P day will be on Monday for now, he loves the letters and said to tell everybody that he is grateful for all of their support and letters

Feb 19th 2010 Mission President writes to us
Today we received a letter from President Robert F. Jensen President Ohio Columbus Mission.
President Jensen had several nice things to say about Patrick and explained to us that they are blessed to have a Temple in Ohio and that the missionaries will have the opportunity to attend from time to time.
His new companion and first trainer will be Elder John Stanworth.
Patrick's first assignment will be in the Piqua, Dayton East Zone and his new address will be 133 Trade Square West, Apt. #7 Troy, Ohio 45373

Ohio Bound!!
Today is the 17th of February 2010 and Patrick is traveling to the mission field, we had the opportunity to talk with him and it was great!!
He explained that this was a bitter sweet moment he misses the spirit that he felt during his stay at the MTC along with the great learning opportunities.
Patrick communicated to me that he never knew how one could developed feelings of love for their companion as he did in such a short period of time. We found out that the Columbus mission is going to be changed some kind of combining with the Cincinnati mission we will have to wait till general conference to find out what is up.

MTC, Suits and Patrick
Everybody may think that while you are in the MTC that you might be free from worrying about ones clothes, well wrong again Patrick suit pants found the only chair in the MTC that had a sharp piece of metal protruding out. Well good news a new suit is on the way!!!

First Letter & Emails
Patrick reportes that he is having a great time and he is sooo busy, loves the letters that he is gettng and has already asked for a care package ( he said that his roommates would really love it to)
During his orientation President Uchtdorf came and spoke, Patrick said the spirit in plain english was breath taking!!
Patrick's p'day will be on Friday's and he claims that there isnt enought time to sleep hahahaha
he is excited there are 4 missionaries going to Columbus at the same time.
